authenticity, intellectual honesty and emotional impact.

Strangely, she knows how to remain at a certain distance, not being swallowed by her subject,

but at the same time a truefull intimacy with her characters that she directs with a few words only,

not too much she told me.

 

She is not abusing technical tricks, she films naturally as if things fall in place on their own.

Instinctively minimalist, she goes to the essential and remains connected to what she is filming.

Presence and patience while filming is an attribute that she shows up with confidence.

 

Humankind and Nature become alive and calm in her hands,

as if she would secretly know how to whisper soft words to their ears.
